This study investigates the correlation between health, hygiene, and financial status within Chengalpattu district’s rural villages. By analysing data collected through surveys, interviews, and local health records, we explore how access to healthcare and hygienic practices impact villagers’ economic circumstances. Our research reveals intricate connections between health conditions and financial outcomes, including healthcare expenses, productivity, income, and household financial management. Through quantitative and qualitative analysis, we uncover patterns and insights that shed light on the socio-economic dynamics in rural areas. These findings offer valuable guidance for policy makers and community initiatives seeking to enhance villagers’ well-being. Addressing health and hygiene concerns emerges as a vital aspect of sustainable rural development, capable of positively influencing financial stability. In summary, this study provides a nuanced understanding of the interplay between health, hygiene, and finance in Chengalpattu district’s villages. By emphasizing the importance of comprehensive approaches to rural development, our research contributes to broader discussions on improving both health and financial outcomes for rural populations.
