Abstract

Labour-intensive small and medium-sized enterprises (LSMEs) such as Leather, Textile and Garment. LSMEs tried to implement Total Quality Management (TQM) for improving the competitiveness. The objective of this paper is to implement the TQM using value stream mapping (VSM) for labour small and medium-sized enterprises (LSMEs). The VSM were modelled using simulation to analysis the current state and future state mapping of VSM for implementation of TQM. VSM factors can be integrated with the factors of TQM to improve the manufacturing system of LSMEs.
