Abstract

This study explores the influence of emotional intelligence on work-life balance among employees in Chennai's technology sector. The research investigates how the five dimensions of emotional intelligence—self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills—contribute to work-life balance. Using data collected from 130 tech professionals and analyzed through Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), the study found that all five dimensions positively influence work-life balance, with self-regulation and empathy showing stronger associations.
