The objective of this study is to assess the impact of internet usage on the personality of Pre-
Service teachers in the district of Tiruvannamalai. Two different questionnaires were sent out to
over 200 Subjects were exclusively Pre-Service Teachers from the district of Tiruvannamalai.
Questionnaire for assess internet usage and Personality among the subjects was carefully prepared
by the authors. The responses for the questionnaires were collected through Google forms and the
scores were worked out. The scores were compared for both the questionnaires. It was observed
that excessive usage of internet and increased screen time has an adverse effect on the personality
of the teachers.
