The objective of this study is to investigate the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in improving the quality assessment, monitoring, and implementation of stringent measures for managing industrial wastewater. The study aims to assess how AI technologies can enhance water quality control, regulatory compliance, and environmental sustainability in industrial processes. Industrial wastewater discharge poses environmental and regulatory challenges, making innovative approaches essential. AI has shown promise in optimizing wastewater treatment processes, real-time monitoring, and predictive analytics. The study will focus on key water quality variables, including temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, total dissolved solids, turbidity, and chlorides. Expected outcomes includes better understanding and mitigation of wastewater discharge impact, insights into AI’s effectiveness in industrial wastewater management, contributions to environmental sustainability and regulatory compliance, recommendations for AI adoption, and insights into potential challenges and risks. This study has the potential to advance environmental protection and regulatory compliance in the industrial sector.
