Abstract

A novel series of Quinazolinone-imidazo[2,1-b][1,3,4]thiadiazole hybrid deriva tives were designed, synthesized and evaluated for their anticancer activities against A549, HeLa and MDA-MB-231 human cancer cell lines by using MTT assay method with Paclitaxel and Doxorubicin as standard dugs. The compound 11c exhibited in vitro anti- proliferative activity against A549 with GI50 values of 0.25 μM, whereas the another compound 11i showed promising anti-proliferative activity against MDA-MB-231 cell line with GI50 values of 0.23 μM respectively.
