Multiple sensors are dispersed within a predetermined sensing area to monitor for occurrences and report back to a central base station (BS) as soon as possible with useful data. Energy conservation methods for WSNs are currently under investigation. A network’s lifespan may be significantly prolonged with the help of a well-thought-out data transmission strategy. In this study, we provide an energy-conscious data aggregation methodology for WSNs called CEDAP. The proposed design is split into an inner layer and an exterior layer, each with their own set of functions. The inner layer collects cluster (cell) data directly, whereas the outer layer collects cluster head (cell head) data via a tree structure transmission. To prevent sensors from dying off too quickly, the proposed CEDAP may spread their power use out over the network.
