Abstract

In our world, people have to act fast in their daily lives. People want to fulfill their needs from where they are in their place. In this era, Wireless Communication technology is very useful for us. For example, It is used in all kinds of ways, like Wireless Communication Mobile Phones, Smart Applicants, Smart Classroom, Smart Watch, etc. Wireless systems are carrying a growing amount of secured Information. Modern Wireless Communication/Cellular Networks (WCN) provide high data rates and integrate traffic types (including multimedia) over a unified platform, and are built on strong foundations of robust and efficient resource allocation techniques. Network resources such as channels, time slots, and bandwidth are limited and shared by different contending devices (also referred to as nodes). Resource allocation algorithms distribute the shared resources in varying network conditions in order to maximize or minimize one or more metrics.

This chapter emphasizes the significance of Wireless Sensor Network (WSNs) for Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) applications. WSN is a network of WSNs which can sense the environment, process the sensed data, and route them to a sink node. WSN has a wide area of applications like military surveillance, SHM home automation, and many other areas.
