Big Data Performance Evaluation for Effective E-governance Applications

Today's world is moving towards Big Data since there is an urgent requirement to collect and preserve any type of data which is being generated, so that no essential data is missed out in any form. There is a huge amount of data floating around in all private and public sectors. Especially for a Government to understand the citizen needs and to provide a good governance, analysis and management of data obtained from e-governance applications is important. This paper focus on evaluating the performance of common NoSQL databases in a Hadoop file system when it is used for BigData analytics and recommend an optimal NoSQL database that suits a E-Governance application.
