Logistics is an essential action for financial development as it implicates the management of movement of goods from place of instigation to place of consumption. The sector includes warehousing, shipping, rail, express cargo, port-services, air and road freight and other worth extra amenities. The global logistics market presently engenders over USD 8 trillion per annum and signifies about 11% of global GDP. Goods and Services Tax (GST) is an indirect tax which was announced in India on 1 July 2017 and suitable all over India which replaces various taxes imposed by the state and central governments. GST is administered by its Chairman (Finance Minister of India) and GST Council. Goods and services are taxed at different tariffs under GST.
