Abstract

The human resource is considered as the significant asset of any organization, which helps to gain competitive advantage. HR audit supports an organization to evaluate and decisively analyze the HR functions. It is a regular assessment to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of HR Management. HR audit is a system that helps to process the functions of Human resource management. An organization should continuously conduct an HR Audit based on certain principles to improve the current situation of the organization. Thereby the functions of HR are vouched in a Maharatna public sector organization The combined effects of independent variables (Human Resource Planning , Training, Employee relations and Human resource Information systems) against the Dependent variable HR audit effectiveness is clarified using multiple regression model .This paper intends to spot the effectiveness of HR Audit on the functions of Human resource management.
