In Socially Aware Wireless Sensor Networks (SoWSN), a network is formed by a seed node which invites other nodes, node clusters and networks that it encounters. Each node in the network will work cooperatively and collaboratively by understanding the intention of the network. The major issue is that the nodes in the network may turn into a malicious node in the future. It is essential to observe the misbehaving nodes which may obstruct the cooperativeness of the network. In this work, we make use of acknowledgement based and message delivery based social network routing protocol, which calculates the node’s reputation. It is necessary to involve caching and forwarding to share reputation values of nodes across the network. We have adapted Least Utility Value (LUV) forwarding and proposed LUV based cache replacement where the request is forwarded only to 1-hop social neighbors. A comparison of acknowledgement based and message delivery based social network routing protocol was done with and without caching scenario.
