Abstract

Data mining is defined as the technique to get the necessary information from the several databases. The data mining is the emerging efficient field which has its roots in various domains such as healthcare, business, and fraud detection. Healthcare domain is very vast and challenging domain that needs an efficient technique to diagnosis the disease in the initial stage as soon as possible. This paper aims to detect the kidney diseases using classification techniques in data mining. Algorithms used in this paper are GLCM, NN [12]. The goal of the algorithm is to extract the features from the accepted input image. Then the features of the input image are compared with the images in the database. The classification algorithm is used to classify the normal image from the affected image. This classification is done by comparing the extracted features from the input image to the database images. The efficiency of the algorithm is decided by prediction accuracy and their execution time [13].
