Abstract

In order to overcome the challenges of the solid unit dosage forms, Fast Dissolving Tablets (FDT) or orally

ability to dissolve more rapidly when compared to standard solid dosage forms. The main objective of the present study was to develop Oral dispersible tablet formulation containing 150mg of Levofloxacin for the treatment of a number of infections including infection of Joints and bones, respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin structural infections and typhoid fever etc. In our study, it was observed that all the values
of pre-compression and post-compression studies were within the limits.
