A stress level of women employees-a study with reference to it sector in Chennai

The study is entitled “A Stress level of Women Employees-A Study with reference to IT sector in Chennai”. The main objective of the study is to measure the level of stress among the women employees towards the working and family environment in IT sector. Stress is defined as a feeling of emotional or physical tension. The research design used for this study is descriptive in nature. Primary data were collected through questionnaire by conducting personal discussion with the employees. Secondary data for the study will be collected from journals/websites. The sampling technique used in the study is simple random sampling. The sample size of the study is 110.Thus the collected data was analysed using statistical techniques like Chi-square test and Weighted Average method. The analysis was done and suggestions and conclusions are given by the researcher to reduce stress level in working and personnel environment. © 2017, Institute of Advanced Scientific Research, Inc.
