Abstract

Psychological ailments are the major reason for the low performance in workplace. Based on the level of the disorder, the performance of the
employer and productivity of the company varies accordingly. The major psychological disorders arise due to mental stress, loneliness, depression,
anxiety, relationship problems, loss of loved ones, negative thoughts, sorrow, fear, addiction, self-harm, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD),
learning disabilities and other mental illness. Mental illness now emerging as a major safety hazard in the workplace, organizations should keep an eye
on organizing the mental health safety programs to all their employees which ensures the enhanced safety and performance of them. Therapists,
Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Social workers, Physicians and others involved in curing of mental illness ailment can heal them through various type of treatment such as therapy, counselling and medication for each employee through one to one interaction. General mental health programs has to be
carried out to improve awareness, staff knowledge and managerial education about the way of recognition of the signs of poor mental health and its cure by offering workplace adjustments and assignments as per the mentality of the workers. This study facilitates the early recovery of mental illness.
