Abstract

Biometric identification is the process of determining a person’s identity. Everyday people want to protect their personal belongings and have easy accessibility to it at a fair cost. Biometric-based identification is more secure than any other technique since it binds an identity to a specific person rather than a password or a code that anybody could use. Other security measures, such as smart ID cards and chips are frequently paired. One of the important biometric systems is fingerprint images. Iterated function systems are self-similarity-based method for creating fractals. In this paper, it obtains an iterated function system for fingerprint images which leads a good representation of the given images. KeywordsBiometric systemFingerprintGraphsFractals
