Abstract

One of the most important tools in the teaching-learning process is outcome-based education (OBE). It aids pupils in improving their abilities in the subjects they have chosen. Learning Outcomes (LO) are an important component of faculty and students understanding of a course or academic program's aim and goal. They play a crucial role in developing a programme and its course, assisting students in gaining information and skills. Students must be able to obtain learning outcomes via assignments, classes, or courses. When the students have gained the learning outcomes at the end of the course, the teaching-learning portion will be accomplished. The current research focuses on the effectiveness of online instruction and learning outcomes in the COVID-19 pandemic. The study's major goal is to obtain feedback from students on whether they achieved the course's learning outcomes. Students from the tertiary level are used as samples for the suggested study to assess its efficiency. To determine the efficiency of online teaching, a questionnaire was distributed to 540 students. The study's objective is to see if the students’ skills have improved as a result of the learning outcomes specified in their course. This study aims to see if the online classes meet the learning outcomes for LSRW competencies. The study also aims to determine the differences in teaching styles between online and offline classes taught by professors during subject hours. The major reason for choosing this area is to evaluate whether online classes are useful to the students in attaining learning outcomes.
