Abstract

Millions of people are using android and many are dependent on their Android for day to day activities. Android is really a boon as well as the threat to the users. Even though Android is very useful, the rate of cybercrime is increased gradually. To analyze and to extract the data in the android many open source tools are available. This paper focusses on open source tools such as Fone Lab, Dr. Fone, Fonepaw, UltData for Android and Autopsy. Tools were used with the device Redmi 7 and compare the artifacts extracted.
