Abstract

Information extraction is key irrespective of any domain. All these years, there have been numerous techniques leveraged to extract information. One of those techniques is “machine learning” (ML). By leveraging ML techniques, information can be extracted and analyzed in a better way. In this work, to gather information, such algorithms based on ML have been used. There are many areas in healthcare where ML is used. The applications of ML include disease prediction, medicine manufacture, improving security, eliminating fraud practices research, and e-record. Also, electronic health record is used widely in all healthcare systems. A healthcare system is said effective only when the outcome of the services for particular health issue is good and the timely service for any health issue brings hope. So, in this work, all the algorithms in ML, which can be applied in healthcare, have been discussed.
