Abstract
Recently, Doubly fed Induction generator is getting improved due to its advantages like variable, speed and autonomous controllability of both active and reactive power. In eneral, voltage stability problem and grid side disturbances
occur in DFIG. The proposed research work uses integrative
wind farms along with grid. Engineers have to follow grid
codes and integrate the DFIG based wind farms into the grid
as this research work recommends the connection of static
synchronous compensator that compensates the reactive power
and rectify the voltage stability problem and helps to protect the DFIG based wind farm form disturbances when it
interconnects with the power grid. Here, MATLAB is used to
simulate the proposed system results. The final result provides theoretical analysis of STATCOM to improve the stability and performance Keywords – DFIG, Simulink, compensator
