Vermicomposting is the combination action of earthworms and microorganisms that can convert agricultural wastes into vermicompost. It is not only more controlled, cost-effective, energy-saving, and waste-free, but it also achieves the most efficient method of organics and nutrient recycling. Vermicompost is an organic fertiliser and soil conditioner that is high in nutrients, its quality maybe determined by many factors, including the degree of earthworm activity, the conditions in which they have been exposed, and the composition of the organic wastes used. This project intends to create an automated system for the effective production of vermicompost manure that uses IOT technology to maintain the appropriate environment by maintaining the optimum moisture and temperature levels. As a result, the information gathered would ideally aid in maintaining the pit’s optimum conditions and improving manure production. Vermicomposting is an economical automation that generally transforms cellular scraps into natural manure, usually named as vermicompost, by the mixed movement of earthworms and mesospheric germs. Essential criteria, viz., as damp and warmth, must be analyzed in the vermicompost generation to obtain maximum output. Nevertheless, hand-operated supervising and improvement of certain stated criteria do not provide assured effects. Furthermore, the conventional means of reaping vermicompost utilizes extended period and needs.
