Abstract
The rapid digitization of global healthcare networks has necessitated the creation of robust, highly accessible
platforms for pharmaceutical information dissemination and inventory management. This paper presents the
comprehensive design, architectural methodology, and technical implementation of Medicare+, a full-stack, webbased pharmaceutical platform. Developed utilizing a Python-driven Flask backend, a highly relational MySQL
database, and a responsive, asynchronous JavaScript frontend, the system serves a dual purpose. For the public
consumer, it acts as a dynamic directory offering critical medical data—including administration directions, side
effects, allergy warnings, and alternative medications. For administrators, it features a securely authenticated,
session-based portal for dynamic inventory manipulation, complex relational mapping, and multimedia handling.
This paper explores the architectural decisions, database normalization strategies, and user interface paradigms that
enable Medicare+ to balance consumer accessibility with administrative security.
