Abstract

The rise of ride-hailing platforms in emerging markets has transformed not only the way people commute but also the way entrepreneurial strategies are crafted and workforces are
empowered. These platforms operate at the intersection of technology, customer demand, and flexible employment, requiring innovative approaches to sustain competitiveness. This study explores how entrepreneurial strategies—such as digital adoption, market penetration, service differentiation, and customer-centric innovation—shape the growth of ride-hailing platforms. At the same time, it investigates how workforce empowerment, through skill development, flexible work models, financial incentives, and decision-making autonomy, enhances driver satisfaction and performance. By combining entrepreneurial agility with workforce-centered policies, emerging ride-hailing platforms can build resilient business models while fostering
inclusive growth. The findings highlight the importance of aligning strategic vision with human empowerment to ensure sustainable expansion and long-term stakeholder trust in the rapidly evolving mobility ecosystem.
