Abstract

In the era of rapid digitalization, organizations need to change their human resource (HR) functions to meet the challenges of agile technologies and develop sustainable workforce. This research addresses factors of digitalization (Technology, Innovation, Knowledge Transfer, Autonomy, and Virtual Teamwork) related to Transformation of HR practices, Digital Culture, and Employee Sustainability. The study employed a quantitative method that relied on a structured approach to gather data from 357 employees working in IT, manufacturing sector, and service industry and used multiple regression analysis, correlation and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Results indicate that the four factors Technology, Knowledge Transfer, Autonomy, Virtual Teamwork have strong positive influence on HR transformation. Moreover, Employee Sustainability has numerous strong predictors, including Digital Culture, which is predicted by both the factors of digitalization and the changes in HR. The strategic value of the integration of the digital culture with the HR process is to guarantee the employee well-being.
