Abstract
Agriculture and rural transformation is a comprehensive process that involves shifting from subsistence farming to
commercial and more productive agricultural systems, which in turn drives broader economic and social changes in rural areas.
This transformation includes developing the rural non-farm economy through activities like agri-processing, creating local markets,
and improving infrastructure to create jobs and diversify rural incomes beyond traditional farming. Ultimately, it aims to reduce
poverty, enhance food security, and improve the overall socio-economic status of rural communities.
