Abstract

The Information Technology (IT) industry plays a crucial role in modern economic development, driving innovation, efficiency, and digital transformation across sectors. This study examines the IT recruitment lifecycle in consulting firms and identifies best practices that improve hiring efficiency and outcomes. The research adopts a descriptive design using both primary and secondary data collected from recruiters and HR professionals. The findings reveal that skill matching, communication, and recruitment strategies significantly influence hiring success, while challenges such as candidate drop-offs and skill gaps continue to impact recruitment effectiveness. The study concludes that adopting data-driven recruitment practices, improving recruiter technical knowledge, and enhancing candidate engagement can significantly optimize the recruitment lifecycle in consulting firms.
