Abstract

The e-commerce sector has experienced rapid growth, especially post-COVID, with businesses
increasingly adopting artificial intelligence (AI) to stay competitive. AI technologies, such as machine
learning and natural language processing, have revolutionized consumer experiences through personalized
recommendations and enhanced user interactions. Beyond customer engagement, AI also helps businesses
streamline operations, increase sales, and reduce costs. This paper explores the emerging trends, benefits,
and challenges of AI in e-commerce, including implementation costs, privacy concerns, and algorithmic
biases, highlighting the need to address these issues for successful AI deployment.
