Abstract
This study examines the dynamic relationship between
individuals and the modern urban environment, focusing on
how cities shape identity, memory, and perception. The study
explores the city as both a physical space and a psychological
landscape, where personal introspection intersects with
collective narratives. Through a reflective and interdisciplinary
approach, the work analyzes themes such as anonymity,
migration, cultural hybridity, and the fragmented nature of
urban experience. It also considers how everyday encounters,
architecture, and social interactions contribute to the formation
of meaning within the city. By weaving together subjective
reflection and broader sociocultural observations, this
exploration highlights the city as an ever-evolving text—one
that is continuously written and rewritten by its inhabitants.
