Abstract

Abstract

Rural development in India is accelerating, driven by financial inclusion that provides crucial economic security through access to services like loans, savings, and insurance. This transformation is heavily reliant on building rural infrastructure, which includes significant strides in Irrigation (creating and expanding capacity). Drinking Water and Sanitation Power (improving quality and accessibility). Connectivity (especially road networks under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana -PMGSY). Better connectivity aims to link rural habitations, markets, schools, and healthcare centers. Ultimately, these infrastructure efforts, which also cover rural housing and telecommunication, are essential for socio-economic progress and are often financed through schemes and the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).
