GUIDANCE FROM THE WORLD COURT ON THE LEGALITY OF USING NUCLEAR WEAPONS – AN ANALYSIS

Contemporary world is witnessing the nuclear era and the devasting effects which have been
perceived during Second World War. Nuclear weapons are most destructive, many countries
including India has started engineering the nuclear weapons. Here persists a question about the
authorised practice, building, expansion and legality of using the nuclear weapons by international
actors. (WHO) World Health Organisation has raised this question of legality of using the nuclear
weapons in the forum of ICJ (International Court of Justice) to get an advisory opinion. It’s very
