Abstract

The study's goal is to look at how stress management affects productivity and job satisfaction among female
faculty members in Chennai's universities. The city was selected because it has a larger population than the
alternatives and because of its urban nature. A survey is used to gather information from primary sources that
can be used to answer the study's questions. Because of the one-time nature of the data collection, this study
can be classified as a cross-sectional analysis. SPSS was used for the technical analysis of demographics,
descriptions, and correlations between independent and dependent variables. The purpose of this study is to
assess the effect that stress reduction strategies have on workers' effectiveness and output. The primary
independent variables that have the most impact on women's abilities are also discussed. Work performance
in Chennai is a dependent variable on several independent ones, including the length of workweek, the quality
of the workplace, the employee's sense of purpose, their happiness at work, and their level of depression. For
the sake of reducing police officer stress in Malaysia, this research is useful for both employers and
policymakers. Recommendations for future research are included with the hopes of further refining and
improving the outcomes of this study.
