Abstract

India's economy is growing largely due to its information technology sector. Organizations work more
efficiently as happy employees, resulting in higher productivity and less absenteeism. Though there are
good things to hear about the IT industry, due to the pandemic situation, there are certain stressful
things to look out. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a compact model that can be used to improve
the employeemotivational level which directly leads to organizational success. The researcher selected
250 interview samples by stratified random sampling procedure. To conduct the survey, the researcher
selected five IT companies and from which the researcher selected 50 samples from each company. The
results of this study can classify the components into five components: “training and
development,”“Financialincentives,”“interpersonal relationship,” and “working environment”and
“career advancement opportunities”.The pandemic situation made a remarkable mark in them. The
result reveals that before the pandemic employee’sexpectation was highly on financial incentives.
Whereas post pandemic employees not only fulfilled with the monetary system and motivational
procedures, but also expect work tasks. Moreover, employees strongly suggest that companies can have
flexible and innovative motivational benefits schemes where employees are allowed to select their extra
benefits (apart from salary) on their own choice.
