Abstract

The integration of renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind,
into existing power grids presents unique challenges, particularly in
the areas of energy storage, system stability, and protection. As
renewable sources are often intermittent, meaning they are not
always available when demand peaks, the need for advanced energy
storage solutions has never been more critical. Energy storage plays
a pivotal role in ensuring that excess energy generated during periods
of high production can be stored for later use, maintaining a stable
supply even when renewable generation is low. By addressing the
fluctuating nature of renewable energy, energy storage solutions help
balance supply and demand, ensuring that the grid remains resilient
and efficient.
