Abstract

The performance and emission properties of vegetable oil as an alternative fuel for diesel (CI) engines are the main subjects of this investigative study. In order to determine whether vegetable oil can be a practical replacement for traditional diesel fuel in internal combustion engines, a great deal of testing and analysis is required. The study looks at the engine’s performance characteristics, like power output and fuel economy, and it also looks at the emission profile, which includes the amounts of carbon, nitrogen oxides, and particulate matter. The study’s findings address both performance and emission issues and provides important new information on vegetable oil’s potential as an environmentally responsible and sustainable fuel source for CI engines.
