The growing adoption of Electric Vehicles (EVs) has increased the demand for advanced and energy-efficient propulsion systems. Therefore, Brushless DC (BLDC) motors are gaining popularity due to their high performance, consistency, and low maintenance requirements. Thus, BLDC motors are essential for utilizing sustainable energy sources to maximize their environmental benefits. Hence, this paper proposes an innovative Photovoltaic (PV) based power conversion system, integrated with an optimized Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) strategy. This system incorporates a modified KY converter, which achieves 98.3% efficiency, significantly enhancing power conversion process by improve the power supply from PV array to EV motor. To optimize solar energy collection, the DragonFly (DF) Algorithm is employed to achieve the greatest MPPT performance, ensuring peak energy output despite fluctuating environmental factors. The entire system is validated through MATLAB/Simulink simulations, and the results demonstrate improved energy efficiency and motor control, making the proposed system an eco-friendly solution for EV applications.
