A foundation for strong organizational success is employee satisfaction. Numerous studies have shown the association between a happy workforce and increased productivity. The effect of work happiness on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) is an important part of this connection. Extracurricular activities that go beyond what is required of them in the work but still help the company succeed are all part of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). In order to create a supportive workplace and get the most out of your employees, you need to know how job satisfaction affects organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). An examination of the role of work satisfaction in shaping OCB is the focus of this study. According to the results, there is a robust relationship between the two factors. When workers are happy and fulfilled in their jobs, they are more inclined to do organizational citizenship behaviors (OCBs) including aiding coworkers, going above and beyond, and promoting a favorable image of the business. There are a number of ways in which contentment in one’s work life might support organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). These include higher levels of intrinsic drive, organizational loyalty, and reciprocity. Companies can attract and retain workers who are willing to go above and beyond the call of duty by making their happiness a top priority. The result is an environment where employees thrive, leading to increased output, fresh ideas, and a distinct advantage over the competition.
