Blockchain technology, celebrated for its decentralized and transparent nature, faces substantial challenges in safeguarding data privacy, especially when handling complex and sensitive information. Differential privacy (DP) offers promising solutions to these challenges, providing robust privacy-preserving techniques. This article explores how differential privacy approaches can be integrated into blockchain systems to protect complex data. By examining various DP methods and their applicability within blockchain environments, we highlight potential benefits and limitations contributing to more secure and privacy-preserving blockchain applications.
