Background: Effective change management in the fast-paced information technology industry of today depends quite definitely on organisational agility. With an eye towards the mediator-that is, technological development-this study intends to examine the relationships between agility and change management strategies. Methodology: Although agility is obviously crucial, its direct impact on change management is still unknown, particularly in relation to the fast increase of technological capacities. We asked three hundred information technology professionals working for different companies a quantitative survey. Findings: Structural equation modelling (SEM) was used in data analysis. Change management and organisational agility have a positive correlation, according to the study (β = 0.45, p = 0.01). Moreover, technological development turned out to be a main mediator in this relationship (mediating effect = 0.32). When compared to their less agile counterparts, companies with high degrees of agility and advanced technologies observed a 25% increase in the number of successful change projects.
