Abstract

Preserving food, medicine, and air conditioning are all key functions of refrigerators in impoverished countries. Freon is a refrigerant which is used to chill the air in typical refrigeration systems. Refrigeration systems are closely connected to ozone layer deflection, hence a broad spectrum of research is going into alternate technologies. Vortex tube design and fabrication are the primary goals of this project. A broad variety of orifice sizes and intake pressures are used to test the Vortex tube after it is constructed. In order to measure performance, cooling and heating effects are employed as indicators. The following are a few of the project’s primary goals:

To calculate the best orifice diameter for maximum cooling and heating effects.

The optimum cooling and heating effects may be achieved by exposing an appropriate intake pressure

To ensure that the COP’s selected BEST performance metrics are accurate

To determine which kind of material is most appropriate for achieving the desired level of performance.
