Abstract

In this work, we focus on coordination and non-coordination buyer-vendor inventory models with fixed life time products, as well as the model’s influence on linear and fixed back order costs at various phases. The goal of this model is to estimate multiple order quantities using a fixed and linear backorder cost and discount factor. The goal is to reduce overall inventory costs, including fixed and linear back orders, in supply chain operations. In addition, in this study, we present mathematical model formulation with both coordination and non-coordination stages. The numerical examples demonstrate that the coordination step is more beneficial to both the buyer and the seller.
