Abstract

The rapid growth of e-commerce has transformed the way people buy and sell goods, but
many local businesses still lack access to digital platforms to reach a wider customer base.
This project aims to develop an E-Commerce Website for Local Businesses that enables
small retailers and local vendors to showcase and sell their products online. The system
provides a userfriendly interface for customers to browse products, view details, add items to
a shopping cart, and place orders securely. The platform includes separate modules for
customers, vendors, and administrators. Vendors can register, manage their product listings,
update prices, and track orders, while administrators oversee user activities, approve vendors,
and maintain system security. Customers can create accounts, search for products, place
orders, and make online payments. By digitizing local commerce, the proposed system helps
small businesses expand their reach, increase sales, and compete with larger online
marketplaces. Overall, this project supports the growth of local businesses by providing an
affordable and efficient online selling solution.
