Abstract

With the increasing prevalence of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) networks in urban environments and workplaces, there is a significant opportunity to leverage existing infrastructure for enhanced crowd management, crime prevention, and work monitoring. This paper explores the multifaceted applications of CCTV systems, focusing on their potential to contribute to public safety and organizational efficiency. The integration of advanced analytics, machine learning algorithms, and real-time monitoring capabilities enhances the capabilities of traditional CCTV setups. The first aspect addressed is crowd management, where the paper discusses the utilization of CCTV networks to monitor and analyze crowd behavior in public.
