Abstract

Priya R Jeevitha V A STUDY ON POSTPARTUM DEPRESSION IN YOUNG MOTHERS LEVERAGING MACHINE LEARNING AND DEEP LEARNING MODELS

Postpartum depression (PPD) is a serious issue for new mothers, especially those aged 18-25, where young mothers experience a form of mental and physical depression. While it is often normal, it can sometimes lead to suicidal thoughts. PPD is not caused by a single problem faced by a new mother; it can involve many factors contributing to depression. Although there are many treatments to overcome this issue, without proper care, it can lead to a mother's death. This paper focuses on reviewing and analyzing papers related to PPD, highlighting the models and techniques employed.
