Abstract
Modern airport infrastructure is found to be highly complex because of its crucial role in global connectivity and economic development. Existing airport resilience plans often fail to adequately address the integration of operational and technological systems. To overcome this limitation, a hybrid model for resilience evaluation is proposed. The model combines System Dynamics Modelling (SDM) with Agent-Based Simulation (ABM), enabling a more comprehensive analysis of airport infrastructure under various stress scenarios. It supports both decision-making for risk response and recovery planning. The model was tested using a high-performance computer system and validated through AnyLogic simulation. The findings indicate that the mean time to recovery (MTTR) improved by 25–35% compared to existing methods.
