Abstract

This paper addresses the multi-objective economic load dispatch (ELD) problem by simultaneously considering fuel cost andenvironmental emission functions. The Krill Herd Algorithm (KHA) is employed to obtain optimal solutions for this multi-objective optimization task. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is validated using a six-unit power system. The results demonstrate the algorithm’s strong performance in terms of rapid convergence and solution quality.
