Abstract

In this paper, we begin with the fuzzy decision making problem (FDMP) with Octagonal fuzzy
numbers to evaluate the Payoff matrix using Octagonal fuzzy numbers, transform the FDMP into a crisp
valued FDMP problem using a ranking method for the payoffs, and then formulate the crisp valued FDMP
problem using the savage mini max regret criterion
