Abstract

The rapid growth of the internet has significantly transformed the way intellectual property (IP)
is created, distributed, and commercialized. In earlier times, commercialization of IP was
limited by physical boundaries, distribution challenges, and high costs. However, the advent of
digital platforms has enabled creators, businesses, and innovators to reach a global audience
instantly.
The internet has not only expanded the scope of IP commercialization but has also introduced
new complexities in terms of ownership, enforcement, and protection. With the rise of digital
media, online streaming, e-commerce platforms, and social media, intellectual property has
become more vulnerable to unauthorized use and infringement.
