Abstract

Digital transformation has become a key driver in the
emergence of Economy 4.0, characterized by the integration of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data analytics, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things (IoT) into economic and industrial systems. In countries like India, digital initiatives led by organizations such as NITI Aayog and programs like Digital India have significantly enhanced governance efficiency, financial inclusion, and service delivery. The rapid
adoption of digital platforms has transformed traditional business models, improved productivity, and strengthened economic resilience. Furthermore, digital transformation supports innovation, entrepreneurship, and
smart infrastructure development, contributing to sustainable economic growth. The rise of Economy 4.0 reflects a shift toward a technology-driven
economy where automation, connectivity, and data-driven
decision-making play a central role in shaping modern economic systems and improving overall national competitiveness in the global digital landscape.
