Abstract

PUBG has created a sudden storm among the video game player especially the adults who
can get addicted to the things easily. Because the adults at this adolescent age they wanted to
explore and experience the aggressive, violence and battlefield environment. This kind of an
addiction not only affects mentally also physically and socially. This PUBG game addiction
makes the students detach from their day to day life and also lack of physical activities.
It is clearly observed that college students are addicted to PUBG games. This study is to find
out the major factor of the social life that affects the college students due to PUBG games.
This study was conducted using quantitative research method, through surveys. The data
gathered in this study was collected from colleges of Chennai. A pilot study was conducted.
The findings of this study are the addiction of PUBG game affects the social life of adults.
